Amaya turns 6!

I'm going to miss my 5 year old... Amaya told me even though she is six, I can call her five forever. How very sweet of her. Time sure does fly... 3 years old For Amaya's birthday I took her out for a girl's day. It was such an exciting day for her. She got her ears pierced, which she has been waiting for since she turned five. She was such a tough girl!

We went to the cupcakery and then shopping. We had so much fun together. She now wants to have a girls day every Saturday.

Now for a little bragging... Amaya received the Most Exemplary Student award at school today. One student from each class gets this award every report card period. I am so very proud of her!

Utah Trip

Happy Summer

This was the beginning of our Summer... We bought a playset from Costco with hopes it would fit in our backyard. Damien really enjoyed helping Dad build it. Gabe helped as much as he could.

It took Riley a good 20 hours to build, but he says it was well worth it. It fits beautifully and the kids love it. We celebrated by having a BBQ and roasting marshmallows.

My Little Karate Kid

I am so proud of Damien for finishing his orange belt in Karate. This was his third session and he has LOVED it. His goal is to one day become a black belt. I am so proud of him for all of his hard work. Here are a few pictures from his past tournaments.

Damien got second place at his last tournament (there's only 1st & 2nd). He was obviously very unhappy about it and refused to let me take his picture.
