It was such a bittersweet day. I love the joy a birthday brings to my kids, but It makes me sad to see them grow up. Amaya has been talking about this day for over a month and was so excited when the day finally arrived. She had the whole day planned. The first thing she told me when she woke up was "Today is my birthday and I get to do whatever I want". Well she did! She went to preschool, had her friend Brooklyn over for lunch, got to play for awhile, skipped a nap, had her favorite dinner (orange chicken), opened gifts, and then went to build a bear. At the end of the day she asked if tomorrow was her birthday too. What a great day we had!

jessica i love it. I cant believe how much it makes me miss your whole family just looking through your pics. I hope your all doing well. We missed you so so much last weekend. I thought of you a lot. What a difference when a piece of us is missing!! But I am looking forward to Janurary. Amaya is so beautiful!!!! I love you so much. Take care see you soon!!!!
Aww..I was so glad Brooklyn got to come over for lunch..she loved it! She was telling me about her new Unicorn that wears a leopard outfit...she was so excited when I asked about it. Happy Birthday Amaya!
